Silver price chart for 2000 shows that silver was gaining in the first month of the year. The yearly high was formed on February 4 at $5.57. Then it was declining for most of the year, reaching yearly low on November 22 at $4.63. Overall, silver lost $0.82 (15.0%) in 2000. The final close of the year was $4.64.
