Silver price chart for 2018 shows that the price of silver was fluctuating in the first half of the year. The yearly high was formed on January 26 at $17.615. In the late June the market broke lower and sold off following the stock market’s record-breaking rally, tightening monetary policy expectations, among other factors. The price of silver was relatively weaker than gold price, as it kept falling until mid-November. The yearly low was formed on November 14 at $13.977. Then silver price rallied and retraced some of its earlier decline following trade war, economic slowdown fears. Overall, silver lost $1.383 (8.17%) in 2018.
