Our Friday's decision to go short has proved wildly profitable, and due to persisting risk of a short-term rebound, it makes sense from the risk-reward perspective to take the sizable gains off the table right now. Trading position (short-term; our opinion): no positions are justified from the risk-reward perspective. In other words, we're closing (at market) the open short positions that we entered on Friday at 2385 for a gain of 161 points as the S&P 500 futures trade at around 2224 currently.
