The main U.S. stock market indexes currently gain between 0.1% and 0.4%, as investors react to some better-than-expected quarterly earnings releases. The S&P 500 index reached yet another new all-time high at 1,768.65. however, only slightly above yesterday’s daily high of 1,764.99. The S&P 500 futures contract (CFD) is above the level of 1,760, still near its short-term upward trend line, as we can see on the 15-minute chart:
