In the latest Premium Update I suggested "being partly in the market right now (33% - 67% of what you would have invested in PMs if a buy signal was given - more risk-averse and long-term oriented investors may want to hold bigger positions at this point, as the true risk in a bull market is being out of it waiting for the perfect buying point), and taking action once we get a confirmation of a move in either direction in the general stock market and the U.S. Dollar."

With PM stocks (GDX ETF) over 8% higher in just 2 days and gold (GLD ETF) about 4% higher during the same time frame, I believe that those of you, who entered the market on Friday are now happy that they did.

Still, I also mentioned taking action also once we get some kind of confirmation from the general stock market. The reason that I'm sending this alert is that we have just seen a significant development on that field. Silver and PM stocks (not to mention gold itself) moved much higher today and its taking place on on a very high volume - indicating that this is not a fake move. This is the case even though there is no breakdown in USD and the general stock market barely moved up, meaning that the PMs are very strong. If they are able soar high even without a significant help from these two key markets, then the moves corresponding to such help in the future are likely to be even more profound.

Therefore, if you were waiting to go long with the rest of your short-term capital dedicated to speculation in PMs, or you wanted to wait for a confirmation before adding to your long-term precious metals holdings - I think that it would make sense to do so now.
